Since its inception in 1973, Miami-Dade Art in Public Places has commissioned works of public art that transform civic spaces, celebrate the diversity of our community and capture the remarkable uniqueness of Miami-Dade County. With more than 1,000 works of art in our collection, the program has become a major county-wide “museum” of art created by our own Miami-Dade based artists and by artists from all over the world.
